More mango anyone?

8.25pm, Food Science. On the schedule for the day we had fruit tasting. Our teacher, Mr Glass, had kindly brought in a bunch of exotic fruits. We had pineapple, kiwi, mango, plums, ugli fruit, tangerines and dried apricots. I was in heaven, but that was not the situation for my fellow classmates. Most of them found mango weird tasting, others barely touched it, actually some people barely toched any of it. Pineapple was the most popular one, with the support from about half of the class, which would be around 12 students.. When it came to the dried apricot there were gag reflexes and a lot of grimaces. Some words used to describe the fruit above was horrible, disgusting, aweful, gross and plenty more.

I'm just like how? Why? Seriously? Come on now people!

Seriously?

Okay so it has been storming here like non-stop since friday. Every other hour there is a new wave of rain, wind, thunder and lightning. I'm kind off wondering if there is something like a monsoon season here in KY, if so I think it's now. Enough is enough!

4/20, also known as Senior Skip-Day. It is just what it sounds like, all of the seniors skip school on this day. Don't ask me why because I couldn't tell you the answer. All I know is that it is awesome. So this is what me and my other half did on 4/20-2011.

PROM

The American prom, where do I begin.. maybe at the hair salon I went to at 10am to get my hair done. Then on to the nail salon to get my nails done. Did my make-up, got dressed and had my date pick me up at 4.30. Then there is lots of pictures that have to be taken.. We ate at Hannah's house with the other 11 couples, took a flatbed to school and danced for the next hours until it was time to go to the after party, which equaled 3 more hours of dancing. I had a blast. Might get more pics eventually..

Ditsy lately?

Okay, I really don't know what's gotten in to me lately. As I mentioned earlier, I lost my phone in New York and it was kind of obvious that wouldn't show up again. It really didn't.
But before that I got to hear the phrase no one wants to hear at the security on an airport, "I think we have a problem here". The problem was I didn't bring my passport ( rookie mistake, I know), but only my ID. My host parents said they only used theirs, so there I go wondering off thinking I'd be fine with mine too, clearly not. But they let me through with my ID, EF Student ID and credit card.
Also speaking off my credit card the bank took it today. Great. The thing is I'm like so sure I know my combination, but I guess not. But I knew it would eat it after three tries, that's why I did two the other day and thought I'd get two new tries today. That didn't happen.. But I'm not alone, my family had their incidents
during our vacation, which makes me feel a whole lot better!
